BULLITT CO., KY – A man was killed and another person was hospitalized after their vehicle skidded off of I-65 in Bullitt County early Monday morning.
According to WDRB, Deputies with the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene between Shepherdsville and Brooks at about 4:30 a.m.
Investigators believe the vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and crashed into several trees, ejecting the driver.
The driver, whose identity is being withheld at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene. Their passenger was rushed to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies are working to establish an official cause of the crash at this time.
