BELL COUNTY, KY – An accident involving a pickup truck in Bell County early Thursday left two men dead, WBIR reports.
The Bell County Sheriff’s Department said the driver of the pickup veered off the road on Little Clear Creek Road at about 12:15 a.m. and went into a ditch line. The vehicle flipped and both the driver and passenger were ejected.
One occupant of the vehicle, identified as 20-year-old Caleb Bayless of Pineville, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupant was pronounced dead after being taken to Pineville Community Health Center. He was identified as 20-year-old Colby Fraizer, also of Pineville. It was not clear which of the two men had been the driver.
Kentucky State Police responded to the scene along with local first responders. Investigators are trying to determine what caused the wreck.
