LOUISVILLE, KY – Two men were killed and a woman suffered serious injuries after a multi-vehicle crash along I-264 early this morning.
According to WDRB, the crash took place at about 3:45 a.m. when a westbound vehicle slammed head-on into another vehicle in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near the Bells Lane exit.
The male drivers of both vehicles suffered fatal injuries in the crash. A female passenger in one of the vehicles was rushed to the University of Louisville Hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
All eastbound lanes of I-264 were shut down while crews worked to clear this scene. Traffic began to flow again shortly before 8:30 a.m.
