LOUISVILLE, KY – A 47-year-old man was fatally struck by multiple vehicles near downtown Louisville on Saturday night.
According to a report by WAVE, DeShawn Eddings was initially struck at about 4 p.m. outside of the Walgreens on the 3500 block of Broadway Road, east of Chickasaw.
Police say the driver of the first vehicle fled the scene before Eddings was hit by another car. He was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he died a short time later.
The driver of the second vehilce remained at the scene and cooperated with police. No identifying information on the first driver is available at this time.
