LOUISVILLE, KY – Police in Louisville are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash that occurred in Jefferson County on Monday night.
According to a report by WHAS, a woman was riding a bicycle on Terry Road in Pleasure Ridge Park when she was hit by a vehicle sometime before 8:30 p.m. The woman, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the driver involved fled the scene before first responders arrived.
Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to call the Louisville Metro Police Department’s anonymous tip line.
