BUTLER COUNTY, KY – Kentucky State Police say a collision between two vehicles in Butler County Wednesday morning left one of the drivers dead.
WBKO reports troopers responded to Reedyville Road in the Roundhill community after the incident was reported at about 6:15 a.m.
An investigation determined that a Chevrolet pickup truck was heading south while a Scion SUV was going north near the 4000 block of Reedyville Road. The vehicles collided head-on when they crossed the center line.
The driver of the SUV, 63-year-old Timothy Phelps of Bowling Green, was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported for the pickup driver, 36-year-old Dustin Fields of Leitchfield.
Kentucky State Police Post 3 is investigating the wreck.
