WARREN COUNTY, KY – Kentucky State Police said they are investigating a fatal single-vehicle car accident that occurred in Warren County on Monday morning.
State troopers were called to the scene near the 33.8 mile marker of Interstate 65 after the incident was reported at about 6:50 a.m.
Investigators said 33-year-old James L. Lambert was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche northbound when the vehicle went off the left shoulder of the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Lambert, a resident of Bowling Green, was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner.
