LAWRENCE COUNTY, KY – A driver died after her car was involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer in Lawrence County Monday morning, WSAZ reports.
The accident happened in the area of State Route 3398 and U.S. 23 North at about 10:20 a.m. Kentucky State Police said the driver of the car was making a turn from U.S. 23 North near Louisa when her vehicle was struck by the semi. The driver of the car, whose name was not released, was killed. The driver of the semi was hospitalized but was not reported to be seriously injured.
Kentucky State Police were at the crash scene along with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and local first responders.
