JEFFERSONTOWN, KY – Two people died and another was injured in a two-vehicle collision Saturday night in Jefferson County, WAVE reports.
Police responded to the scene in the area of Taylorsville Road and Six Mile Lane after the incident occurred at about 8:35 p.m.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as 34-year-old Amber Payne and 50-year-old Frances Glen. Another person was transported to University of Louisville hospital, but no details were released on the person’s condition.
The wreck closed down Taylorsville Road in both directions from Six Mile Lane to Farish Drive.
