LOUISVILLE, KY – Louisville Metro Police said a driver was found dead following a car accident that occurred on Thursday night, reports WDRB.
Officers arrived that night in the area of Chenoweth Run Road and Taylorsville Road and found the vehicle involved, which had gone off the road and crashed into a line of trees. After an extensive ground and air search, the body of the victim was located Sunday afternoon about a mile away from the crash scene. He was identified as 20-year-old Travis Haley.
Family members said he was on his way to work at the time of the accident and was reported as missing.
The Louisville Metro Police Department’s Traffic Unit is continuing to investigate all aspects of the wreck.
