LOUISVILLE, KY – Louisville police said a truck driver died in a crash on an Interstate 71 ramp Thursday afternoon.
According to WAVE, the driver lost control of the semi on the ramp from I-71 to the Gene Snyder Freeway at about 4:30 p.m. The truck ran off the roadway and rolled over.
The driver, who was not publicly identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the truck and no other injuries were reported.
Louisville Metro Police are investigating the cause of the wreck, which closed the ramp from I-71 South to the Gene Snyder.
