LOUISVILLE, KY – Police charged a man with drunk driving after he got into an accident with his four children in the car in Louisville Wednesday night, reports WDRB.
The accident took place in the area of Greenbelt Highway and Greenwood Road at about 9 p.m. Witnesses told police that Corey Dishman was speeding and ran a red light at the intersection.
Responding officers reported finding victims on the ground at the accident scene. Dishman’s 9-year-old daughter was taken to the hospital with a serious injury. No updates were immediately available on her condition or any other injuries.
Police said Dishman showed indications of impairment, and he was subsequently charged with DUI, assault and criminal mischief.
