MOREHEAD, KY – Two people, including a young child, were killed following a single-vehicle crash on the Rowan/Lewis County line on Saturday morning.
According to WKYT, the collision took place on August 21st at bout 8:30 a.m. near Thomas Cemetery Road.
Police say the unidentified driver lost control of their vehicle for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree.
Two passengers in the vehicle, 27-year-old Chastity Underwood and her 2-year-old son, succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. A five-month-old girl was also hospitalized in unknown condition.
It is unclear if the driver suffered any injuries in the crash. However, that individual was not hospitalized.
