LOUISVILLE, KY – Louisville Metro Police responded to a deadly pedestrian accident on Interstate 65 early Monday morning.
According to WDRB, the incident occurred on I-65 South near the Broadway exit, and was reported at 4:45 a.m.
Investigators said a man was struck by at least two vehicles in the left lane of I-65. The victim, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers remained at the scene of the crash.
The incident is under investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department Traffic Unit. I-65 south was shut down for about four hours for the crash investigation, causing delays for drivers going into downtown Louisville.
