LOUISVILLE, KY – One person was killed following a single-vehicle crash on the Gene Snyder Freeway on Wednesday night, WDRB reports.
The crash took place at about 8 p.m. when the unidentified male driver lost control of the vehicle near Stonestreet Road.
Investigators believe the vehicle traveled off the roadway and slammed into a tree, killing the driver.
All eastbound lanes on this portion of the freeway were shut down for some time afterward while crews worked to clear the scene.
