SHIVELY, KY – Police in Shively are investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred on Tuesday, reports WDRB.
Officers responded to the area of Crums Lane and Janell Road following a report that a pedestrian had been struck. Police found that a man believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, had been hit by a vehicle heading east on Crums Lane. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved fled the scene headed west after the crash. Police issued a description of the vehicle they are looking for, saying it was a white 2018 or newer sedan, possibly a Chevy Malibu, with tinted windows and heavy front end damage and a possibly broken windshield on the passenger side.
