LOUISVILLE, KY – Authorities said a driver was killed when his SUV was involved in an accident on Interstate 265 south Thursday morning, reports WDRB.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the man lost control of his vehicle while driving on the interstate at about 8 a.m. The SUV went over a guardrail before coming to rest on New Cut Road.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and was later identified by the county coroner as 53-year-old Robert William Ratliff of Louisville. No other injuries were reported.
