LOUISVILLE, KY – A woman was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in southwest Louisville early this morning.
According to WHAS, the woman was walking in the middle of Indian Trail, near Unseld Boulevard when she was hit by a blue or gray vehicle at about 12:45 a.m.
The woman was rushed to a local hospital, where she died a short time later. Her identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
The driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. No further information on their identity is available at this time.
