LOUISVILLE, KY – Drivers in Louisville were met with significant delays on I-71 resulting from a jackknifed UPS truck on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a report by WLKY, the crash happened sometime before 4:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate, just before Brownsboro Road.
It is unclear at this time what caused the tractor-trailer to jackknife in the freeway. However, photos from the scene show one container flipped on its side, blocking all lanes of travel.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The roadway was cleared shortly after 6 p.m.
