LOUISVILLE, KY – One person was flown to a Louisville hospital following a major collision along I-65 in the Shepherdsville area on Wednesday.
According to a report by WAVE, the crash took place near the exit to Cedar Grove Road when an object flew off another vehicle, causing a semi-truck to swerve out of the way.
A minivan collided with the rear of the semi after it veered to avoid the object.
One person in the van suffered serious injuries and was flown to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment. It is unclear if any other injuries were sustained in the wreck.
