LOUISVILLE, KY – A woman died after she was hit by multiple vehicles in southeast Louisville this morning.
According to a report by WHAS, the woman was attempting to cross Bardstown Road near Meadow Drive when she was hit shortly before 3 a.m.
Witnesses told police the woman was wearing dark clothing and crossing outside of the designated crosswalk when she was struck by two vehicles.
Both drivers fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
